He co-founded a licensed Texas Personal Assistance Services (PAS) home-care agency and served as its alternate administrator — standing up the LLC from start to finish, assisting with the license, building the policy manual, and selecting and going live on the agency’s software.

He has also carried real fiduciary responsibility for other people’s money. Across two Texas neighborhoods he accumulated roughly fifteen years of homeowners’-association leadership — including eight years as board president of his second community — and for more than a decade he was a publicly elected director of the Dowdell Public Utility District, where he also served as assistant secretary and security liaison. When he took his seat, the district was in the red; by the time he left, it held nearly two years of reserve funding in the bank.
